- Synopsis
- Series of 21 trigger films - short sequences of potentially violent situations shot from the point of view of a member of staff coming on to the scene - designed to initiate role plays and/or discussions of the possible ways to handle such situations. They illustrate possible confrontations in residential/day care institutions (for staff working with adolescents, the elderly, the mentally ill or handicapped); the domestic environment (for any staff, social workers, probation officers, housing officers, etc. who may have to visit clients in their homes); reception areas (appropriate for any local or central governent department; a library, pub or alleyway (designed to explore general fears about meeting and coping with violence).
