Controlling Behaviour Through Reinforcement

Synopsis
Shows that by reinforcing an organism on different schedules, one can control not only how fast the organism works at any given period of time, but also the way it distributes that work within a given period of time. These results are demonstrated with pigeons under controlled laboratory conditions and in an elementary classroom where the varying results of putting the children on different reinforcement schedules are shown.
