Consumer and the Law, The

Synopsis
In every-day activities members of the public enter into a number of contracts: buying a newspaper, parking a car, buying a house. Much of the small print is often not taken into account and subsequently the consumer may find himself with faulty goods or a prolonged legal battle. What are our rights? Are we protected in any way? How do we go about asserting our rights? Questions on consumer rights are answered by a panel of experts, with filmed and dramatised sequences illustrating the points.
