- Synopsis
- One of the few remaining silversmiths in Britain (based in Rotherhithe) receives a prize order to manufacture a massive wine cistern. This has enabled a company of 11 chasers, polishers, spinners and smiths to remain in business in what is a declining trade. Interviews with the owner and with the silversmiths, showing them at work. Have since closed down. Filmed January 1991.
