Colours of Hope
- Synopsis
- Describes the imprisonment and eventual release of a family of political prisoners in Argentina. During his eight years of imprisonment, Juan Carlos’ morale was sustained by the knowledge that groups such as Amnesty were exerting pressure on the government to stop torture and release prisoners. The ‘colours of hope’ are the pictures he was able to send to his son, drawn while he was in prison.
