Code in the Nose, A

Synopsis
Follows the development by biopysicist Luca Turin of a radical theory to decipher the language of smell. He believes that it is the vibrational frequency, not the shape, of the molecules that excites the sense of smell. If proved right, his ideas could transform the perfume and food industries and bring about a new generation of pollution detectors.
