Synopsis

Psychologist Dr Susan Blackmore, researcher into the paranormal, investigates some of the many abduction-by-aliens claims. Her search leads from victims to UFO specialists and a psychiatrist who believes the claims. Finally she undergoes an extraordinary experience that provides a physical explanation for the stories she has heard.
