Climate Change: Nature’s Revenge

Synopsis
Examines the environmental costs, in terms of climate change, of the vicious North-South cycle of developing country debt and unsustainable development. Six billion tonnes of carbon dioxide are deposited into the atmosphere every year and 3.2 million tonnes of oil are spilled into the oceans. The film claims that devastating hurricanes and earthquakes are a result of this pollution, but, on the positive side, in South India the introduction of renewable solar energy plants is paving the way toward greater North-South co-operation.
