- Synopsis
- The master musician of North India, Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, demonstrates a short example of North Indian classical music. He plays the instrument which he has helped to make famous in India and abroad, the sarode. In this performance he is assisted by the tabla player, Pandit Mahapurush Misra, and his own son, Ashish Khan, playing the drone instrument, the tanpura.*
