Synopsis
Studies the effects of war on the people whose land is fought over. Follows the fate of civilians in World War 2. Includes interviews with survivors and archive footage from the period. Shows three of the few survivors of the Soviet slave labour camps, two nurses who were in the Warsaw uprising, part of the original film of the Russian liberation of Auschwitz, and other events.
