- Synopsis
- A short, open-ended drama designed to stimulate discussion of values and ethics in relation to modern medical technology. A woman with multiple sclerosis is waiting for a place in a nursing home. When one is finally found for the care of this chronically ill patient, the doctor is relieved that the vacant bed can now go to a patient who urgently needs treatment, over the objections of a nurse who believes that all patients deserve the quality of care.
