- Synopsis
- In 1996-97 a retrospective season of the work of choreographer Rosemary Butcher was held in London and elsewhere. In part 1 of this video Rosemary Butcher talks of the concerns which inform her work, referring specifically to two choreographies, both shown in full: one early - ‘Spaces 4’(1988) and one recent - ‘Unbroken View’ (1995). In part 2 she is seen leading a warm-up and reconstructing an earlier dance, ‘Pause and Loss’ (1976).
