Choreographic Endeavour

Synopsis
The work of the Brooking Ballet School in developing a coherent method of teaching choreography is described. A selected number of contrasted exercises, used by students at the beginning of their training, is shown. From these the young choreographers develop towards a more defined line in their own composition. A short addendum illustrates the variety of ideas and styles which the method allows to emerge; a series of short compositions is shown.
