21 Up (2 Parts)

Synopsis
Follows on from SEVEN UP and SEVEN PLUS SEVEN. In the earlier films 14 children from a cross-section of society were interviewed at the ages of 7 then 14. Now at 21, with flashbacks to their previous interviews, they discuss similar topics and look into their past and future, their ambitions and fears. How have they developed? In what ways have their attitudes changed? Some are at university, others are working, one is unemployed. Many of the children have fulfilled expectations, but there are surprises. Now they are on the threshold of a new stage in their lives.
