Synopsis
Nigerian writer Chinua Achebe in conversation with Somali writer Nuruddin Farah. They discuss Achebe’s sense of identity - African and Nigerian, the question of language in a multicultural society, national versus ethnic literature, the oral tradition, and Achebe’s translations of Ibo oral proverbs.
