Children’s Development: Six Weeks to Four Years (5 Parts)
- Synopsis
- The children and mothers were strangers to Dr Cunningham, having been selected by a Health Visitor on the basis of their chronological age. Each programme shows the pattern of average developmental progress of a specific child. Fine and gross motor development, vision and hearing testing, and development of speech and language are demonstrated. The commentary is exactly as provided during the course. The vagaries of children’s behaviour and co-operation are illustrated. Clinical physical examination of cardiovascular, respiratory, abdominal and neurological systems are not dealt with.
