Child Watchers, The

Synopsis
A survey of the techniques psychologists use to discover the laws which govern the developmental patterns of children from birth to adulthood. The discoveries relating to the physical and mental capabilities of young children and the implications for education are examined. A child experiences a tremendous amount of learning before formal education begins. Children learn by watching and listening to the people around them, but developmental psychology has as yet barely touched the surface of the many phenomena of early learning.
