- Synopsis
- Case study which illustrates the principles of involving all the family in the patient’s illness. The mother is dying of breast cancer and her husband has excluded their two teenage children from the true knowledge of her illness to protect both them and her. Professor Ann Faulkner negotiates access to the children and then explores with them their feelings and reactions to their mother’s illness and death.
