Child Development: The Six Months Examination
- Synopsis
- Simple reliable testing of a child aged six months. First the dissolution is shown of most of the primitive reflexes on which the earlier neonatal examination was based. The baby’s social development is shown in his positive and inquisitive reaction to the world around him even though his emotional and physical scope is still very limited. Simple vision and hearing tests are performed. Finally, motor development and postural responses are tested.
