- Shows the behaviour of non-innoculated chick kidney cell cultures; the detachment of virus-containing parts of the cytoplasm of cells previously infected with a herpes virus of turkeys and subsequent phagocytosis of these parts of the cytoplasm by neighbouring cells; the virus-induced transformation of cells as a late form of infection by herpes virus of turkeys.
