Synopsis
The travelling theatre company 7.84 gives a polemical account of the history of Scotland from the Highland Clearances to the effects of the development of the North Sea oilfield. Intercuts film of a stage performance with historical re-creations and documentary material.

First performed in Edinburgh on March 31st 1973, BBC Television aired this production on June 6th 1974.
