Chartres: Heaven on Earth

Professor Keith Critchlow of the Prince of Wales Institute of Architecture discusses the history, architecture, art and significance - the ‘sacred architecture’ and ‘sacred geometry’ - of the cathedral of Chartres in France, and looks upon the cathredal as both a model of the universe and a metaphor for one’s spiritual journey.
