Charm of Dynamite, The

Synopsis
Abel Gance as a pioneer of cinema technique ranks with Griffith and Eisenstein. He invented, long before they became widely adopted, such innovations as mobile hand-held cameras, large or multiple/variable screens and complex editing techniques. The film includes interviews with him, shows him at work on the set and on location and contains extensive footage from three of his greatest works - J’ACCUSE, LA ROUE and NAPOLEON.
