Introduces simple behavioural tests using laboratory animals to differentiate CNS stimulants from CNS depressants and specific against non-specific drugs. Includes a short theoretical introduction to equipment such as the activity cage, rota rod and Y-maze as well as methods of detecting antagonism of ptosis. Demonstrates models of aggression as well as the induction of catalepsy.
