Synopsis: The Cyfarthfa Band of Merthyr Tydfil was one of the greatest Victorian private bands. This film tells of the discovery of their repertory and instruments, demonstrating how the sound of the band was reconstructed and how the reconstrucitons were used, and shows a rehearsal and recording session.
