Cavitation
- Synopsis
- Cavitation is seen on hydrofoils, marine propellers, pumps, turbines, and dam spillways. Shows some of the harmful or annoying effects of cavitation, such as noise, increased lift and damage to solid surfaces as well as some designs to minimise these effects. Experiments illustrating cavitation bubble growth and collapse are also shown.
