Synopsis: An account of events in a Senegalese repatriation camp just before the end of World War 2, based on a historical episode. Soldiers from all over Africa who fought for the Franch and the Allies were interned there before being sent home. Shows from the point of view of the African soldiers their daily life and the tensions between them and their generally racist and bigoted officers. When the French cut their back pay, tragedy ensues.
