Butchers of Boxgrove, The
- Synopsis
- In 1993 a fossil was unearthed from a Sussex gravel pit which turned out to be the shin of a half million-year-old human: ‘Boxgrove Man’. Archaeologists returned to the site in summer 1995 to investigate how this early man lived and when he died. The conclusions that challenge conventional ideas about our ancestors.
