Burma Victory

Synopsis
Official British war film depicting the Burma campaign, remembered bitterly by veterans and ‘the forgotten war’ - from 1942 to the capitulation of the Japanese in Rangoon. When the Japanese invasion of Burma threated India and cut supply routes to China, the British forces realised they would have to dig in and hold out at all costs, usually with few men and little in the way of ammunition and supplies. War in Burma was cruel and vicious, often with no prisoners taken.
