Synopsis
Four short animated cartoons from the first series produced in Britain by the Neptune Company. The artist, who is seen in the film, is Lancelot Speed. The titles are BULLY BOY, GENERAL FRENCH’S CONTEMPTIBLE LITTLE ARMY, SLEEPLESS and SEA DREAMS. The films, which are distributed on one reel, are propaganda against the Kaiser, and contain several references to Prussian militarism and the ambitions of the German Empire.
