Synopsis
A film adaptation of the novel ‘Return journey’ by Abdulla Hussein. In the early 1960s, illegal Pakistani immigrants lead a troubled and squalid existence, which is precipitated into crisis by the arrival of a young white woman. Depicts the helplessness and vulnerablity of the immigrants and presents Britain from an unusual angle.
