Looks at the domestic architecture of the Regency and Gothic periods, studying the various individualistic styles, including those of the Arts and Crafts movement, which emerged towards the end of the century. Looks also at post-1900 architecture, illustrating the development of ‘modern’ and ‘post-modern’ styles.
