Britain’s Effort
- Synopsis
- This Lancelot Speed cartoon, similar in technique to THE U-TUBE, illustrates the contribution made by Britain and the Empire to the war effort. It argues that since ‘our’ effort in men, money and munition is greater then the Hun’s, victory must therefore be assured. Ends with scenes of a rosy post-war future - ‘the peace we mean to have’.
