Breathless

Synopsis
Investigates the Buteyko method, a controversial drug-free treatment for asthma developed by Russian professor Konstantin Pavlovich Buteyko, who claims that many asthma symptoms are caused by hyperventialtion. Therapists using the method encourage patients to slow their breathing. To test this approach, therapist Sacha Stolmatski attempts to transform the lives of three chronic asthamatics in just five days.
