- Focuses on Brazilian street children and the Candelária massacre of July 1993 in which seven street children and a youth were gunned down outside Candelária church in downtown Rio de Janeiro. Follows the fortunes of some of the child survivors and witnesses against a backdrop of an increasingly violent Rio de Janeiro and its social divide.
