- Synopsis
- A compilation of three short British Transport films.
1 (1952, dir. John Taylor): Tours the communities between Inverness and Kinloch Rannoch. Shows life in these small communities, developments in industry, agriculture and transport, feature gamekeeper, bus diriver, district nurse, newspaper editor.
2 (1961): Ardnamurchan peninsula on the coast of Argyll, a place riche in wildlife. Shows hore bird caring for their young as spring blossoms into summer, the wild cat and red fox, a soaring eagle, young ospreys waiting for food. Summer flows into auturm, and red stags challenge one another, watched by hinds.
3 (1957): A coach tour from Edinburgh to the Isle of Skye and a steam train journey on the West Highland line, showing the highland scenery. - Language
