Year of the Beaver

Synopsis
Suggests that the birth of policies and attitudes which are known as ‘Thatcherism’ was taking place within the declining Labour government of 1977. Expounds this theory by examining the relationship between the high-speed technologically advanced service being offered to the consumer at Grunwick and the intensified work pressures being enforced on the factory floor.
