Synopsis
Looks at the World Trade Organisation (WTO) meeting held in late 1999 in Seattle from the point of view of a possible beginning of a new international poitics: the opponents of globalisation massed in one of the largest demonstrations in the USA since the Vietnam War to accuse the WTO of putting profit before principle, threatening the environment and making poor people poorer.
