World to Perceive, A
- Synopsis
- The series presents research in experimental psychology which reveals significant concepts and methods in the scientific study of behaviour. This film deals with visual perception, particularly the way in which we see the deep, three-dimensional world. Reviews the work of Dr Herman Witkin of the State University of New York who concludes that there are individual differences in perception and that these stem basically from differences in background, experience and personality.
