Women Under Seige
- Synopsis
- Rashadiyah, a town in Southern Lebanon six miles from the Israeli border became, in 1964, a camp for 14,000 Palestinian refugees but in 1968 was destroyed by the Israelis. The camp later re-grouped. The film records interviews with the people living in a place of seige. Everyone interviewed expressed a commitment to the revolution. The film shows how the position of women has changed in recent years. One year after the film was shot Israeli forces overran the Rashadiyah and the fate of most people seen in the film is unknown.
