Without Trace

Synopsis

'Without Trace’, created for V-TOL Dance Company by artistic director Mark Murphy, toured exensively in the UK and abroad. The piece, a fusion of movement, text, music and film, follows the story of Beth, a young woman who decides to go missing, and the effect her actions have on the people she encounters and those left behind. Alongside the touring production, the company delivered an education programme for which this resource pack was specially devised. The booklet, written primarily for teachers, provides an insight into the working practices of the company, information on the creative process of ‘Without Trace’ and teaching ideas for devising and developing work. The video is a record of the production and the CD a recording of the soundtrack.
