Without Fathers or Husbands

Synopsis
A characteristic of the Na, an ethnic group in south-east China, is that all the members of each household are consanguineous relatives. Their social organisation is absolutely matrilineal and, in that incest is prohibited as elsewhere, their sexual life mainly takes the form of nocturnal visits of men to women.
