Synopsis
The Boer War (1988-1902) saw correspondents - among them Winston Churhcill, Rudyard Kipling and Edgar Wallace, photographers and newsreel cameramen play a major part in war propaganda for the first time. Uses diaries, memoirs, photographs and archive film to show the role of the media in the conflict.
