Synopsis
An imaginary biography of Audre Lorde - African-American, lesbian, feminist, professor, mother, visionary and ‘warrior poet’ - who died of cancer in 1992. The film meditates on those moments in a life lived with passion that steel the political will and enlighten the poetic consciousness.

Arts on Film Archive offers on-line access to a large range of films on art produced in the United Kingdom since the 1950s, and is a unique record of British and international post-war art, as well as of documentary film-making in the UK.
