Whoever Says the Truth Shall die: A Film About Pier Paulo Pasolini
- Synopsis
- A documentary about writer, poet, screenwriter and film director Pier Paulo Pasolini which begins by looking at Pasolini’s violent death in 1975 when he was found murdered on a deserted beach. Bregstein argues that Pasolini’s death was planned by Italian right-wingers. Throughout his life Pasolini had been the subject of continuous personal attacks from the judiciary, church, press and police. Includes interviews with many of his collaborators and contemporaries, as well as clips from many of his films.
