Shows a typical day for three of the estimated 51,000 young carers in Britain. Covers the problems of looking after younger siblings as well, the effect on their social lives, missing school and falling behind with their work, difficulties in sharing their problems, coping with the pressure, and the attitudes of teachers. Includes an action plan for schools to provide additional support for these pupils.
