Synopsis

Joan Bakewell in Jerusalem examines evidence relating to the three days the body of Jesus Christ lay in a tomb following his crucifixion. A first-century tomb, with six of its nine ossuaries inscribed with familiar names from the gospels and contemporary texts, was discovered, and its implications discussed.
