Where Eagles Fly

Synopsis
A study of the golden eagle in Scotland, showing physical features and behaviour and, as winter ends, nest building at the eagles’ chosen cliff site. Sequences show incubation, hatching, feeding of young, stages of growth, preparations for flight, and first flights from the nest. Man’s activities in the area (grouse shooting, heather burning, deer stalking etc.) are briefly mentioned. Notes the illegal practice of using poisoned carrion as bait for eagles.
