What is Microteaching?

Synopsis
An introduction to microteaching. Examples from the pre-service course run by Professor Duthie at the University of Stirling in Scotland demonstrate one way in which a microteaching programme can be conducted. The possibilities of audio or video recording for later analysis are demonstrated but the film concentrates on ‘pencil and paper’ techniques with students and tutor observing and coding the lessons.
