What Happens to Me Now?

Synopsis

Aims to promote critical discussion about hostel work. The programme is based around hostels in the South Yorkshire constellation but the work it shows, and the issues it raises, are relevant to any location. Follows two residents (a habitual offender facing a prison sentence, and a non-offender with a drink problem) from hostel to hostel, emphasising the gradual withdrawal of close supervision. The actual procedures shown are correct and apart from two review meetings recorded in the studio, all other shots are recorded on location in the hostels/accommodation being used.
